Meet Aaron
Aaron brings over 20 years of experience and education in the field of project administration and environmental science across government and private sectors.
A 14-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Aaron has had a unique career that ultimately centers around natural resources. As a military member, Aaron was a steward for the procurement, inventory, and logistics of millions of dollars of supplies and equipment. Her experience took her from science expeditions aboard ship in the Arctic, to hurricane response, training centers, major supply distribution warehouses, and finally, remote vessel support from her own home office.
In her civilian career, Aaron specialized in project administration and permitting for multidiscipline engineering and environmental firms. There she acquired field skills to assist development projects with land survey, wetland delineations, and environmental assessments. Her personal interests found her establishing processes for such industries as sustainable agriculture, landscape design, and even artisanal food and beverage production.
A lifelong student, Aaron’s current pursuits include certification in stream repair and rain garden installation, continuing environmental science education through Southern New Hampshire University, and volunteering on behalf of organizations such as Person County Friends of the Parks and Carolina Wetlands Association. In her free time, you’ll find her hiking with her friends and dogs, on a horse, or planning the next camping trip with her family.
